STEP 1: DO YOU LIKE MY STYLE?
Take a look around & see what you like about my work! My approach is to create a more natural looking image, also known as lifestyle or documentary style. The result of the images look very unposed & candid. I like to create every photograph to tell a story, capturing you or your child in their natural element.

Editorial Style Engagement Session: David & Vera
I recently had the pleasure of shooting an Editorial Style Engagement Session for this beautiful couple. David & Vera wanted something a little modern & chic, yet sweet & natural, for their engagement pictures. Fall Maternity Session in Northville, MI
Eddie & Joo-Sun were looking for soft, airy & natural looking photos to document Joo-Sun’s maternity. If I could pick three words to describe my style of photography, Joo-Sun hit the nail on the head with those adjectives! The two of them were so adorable together, and clearly brimming with excitement for their baby boy. Check out more photos from this beautiful maternity session!

Fresh 48 Newborn Session: Lula
The amount of people who came to visit Lula during this session was overwhelming- in the most amazing way. At only a day old, she was surrounded by love & care from her Grandparents, uncles, aunts, and close friends of Tony & Shpresa’s- each of the visitors in awe of her beauty. Capturing their expressions as they walked in the door; as they held her for the first time; as they kissed her sweet face, was one of the most magical things I have ever photographed. Relaxed Family Session in Rochester Hills
Simon, Mariana & Zana’s family session in Rochester Hills, MI was a gorgeous one. They’re such a fun & relaxed family, but what I noticed about them in particular, is how happy they were just being with each other, and the unique bond that they shared. More images from this lovely family here!

Candid Child Portraits in Commerce Twp, MI: Sophie
Whenever I’m doing a children’s session, I like to let the child lead the session. They get to explore, show you things that they think are interesting, and they don’t have to worry about saying “cheese” 14 times. It’s just like another day at the park to them; and to me and the parents, it’s just that much easier to get natural & candid child portraits. You can also set up a complimentary pre-consultation at this time. This can be done via phone, email, skype, or coffee date– my treat! We can use this time to go over any ideas or questions you may have, or cover all of the products Kellie&Jean Photography offers.
STEP 3: MY FAVORITE STEP!
Decide to work with me, and book your session! My promise to you? You’re going to leave this experience with something beautiful & dreamy, that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
STEP 4: SHOOT!
The day of your session is here! By this time, we have already discussed your ideas, and picked out the location that’s perfect for you. So all you need to do is arrive at that location, and relax. Don’t worry about your hair; posing for the camera; your child’s behavior; or anything else! That’s my job. My main goal (other than taking the pictures) is to make you & your family feel comfortable & care-free!

STEP 5: IN PERSON ORDERING APPOINTMENT
About two weeks after your photo shoot, I will contact you to set up your ordering appointment. This is where you’ll get to view your images from your session, and purchase your prints, products or digital images! Typically, ordering appointments are done in the client’s home, so I will schedule this appointment based on your own personal schedule & what’s easiest for you.
You will also be presented with several sample items to help visualize the products that you order. The appointment usually lasts for about an hour.
