I love, love, LOVE holiday cards. They’re always so pretty and there is something so therapeutic to me about getting them organized, stuffing the envelopes, address stamping them, and postage stamping. Don’t ask me why! So, of course I’m going to launch a Holiday Card Event! They’re way too pretty to keep hoard to myself!
If it isn’t already obvious, let’s talk about what’s so special about these holiday cards:
They’re REAL foil pressed cards.
In case you haven’t noticed, the K&J branding colors are gold, black & white; but the gold is always a brushed metal or foil. So I am constantly in the market for gold press products like business cards, flat cards, and stationary. But not just gold- FOIL STAMPED gold. Speaking from experience, it isn’t the easiest thing to find, nor is it the cheapest. A lot of companies will offer a “foil gold” product, thats actually not foil stamped at all, but instead is printed with a metallic ink. Metallic ink doesn’t shine like foil does, and therefore metallic ink just doesn’t do it for me. See the difference here.
They’re personalized. You can add your name, and your favorite pictures from your session!
They’re better than the competition.
Before launching this event, I did some research on the popular online greeting card companies. A few of them are offering foil pressed cards this holiday season, so I wanted to find out what makes mine stand out from theirs. The first difference I noticed was quality. I only offer to sell to my clients what I would like to have for myself, and if the product is not up to my standards, I won’t recommend it, let alone sell it. Visually speaking, I wasn’t overly impressed the competition foil cards. The second difference I noticed was price. Mine are less expensive. I’ll list the pricing information below, and then you can do your own comparison. The third difference I noticed was image clarity. If I’m going to send these cards out to all of my family & friends, the images must be clear and sharp. I recently placed an order with one of the two popular companies. What I received back was a grainy, pixelated, distorted image. Mind you, I, one hundred percent, without a doubt, sent in a high resolution photo. There is NO reason this should have happened. THREE WEEKS later, and three new sets of cards re-printed due to the company’s error, I finally had clear images. The customer service was fantastic, so I won’t take that away from them. But this is definitely not something I care to deal with when ordering products.
So, let’s see them!!
