This Fresh 48 newborn session is one of my absolute favorites! Since we’re in the middle of the covid 19 pandemic, and hospital sessions are now a thing of the past (insert all of the broken heart emojis here), I am really loving going back through this one at St. Joseph Mercy.
Right when the lockdown went into effect, I had a few Fresh 48 sessions that had to cancel completely and it made me so sad! Luckily for me, those clients ended up scheduling later sessions for when we open back up, but I don’t see any hospital sessions in my near future. This may be the last one I blog for a while but I need to get it out there so I can go back and obsess over every detail 😂 😍
Guys, meet Rowan, the prettiest little angel ever. She was so sweet for this entire session, as all babies are! Her two big brothers were so excited and happy to meet her this day, and I was so honored to photograph them all together during those first few days. You may recognize this gorgeous family from a few posts back for their family maternity session (see here). Amanda is my lovely photographer friend, but even if she weren’t a photographer, I think she would agree that photos during the first few days are a MUST. Whether they’re hospital photos or a session at home. We all know that babies don’t keep and these early days are such a blur. These moments happen so dang fast! You will never ever be disappointed that you had photos of these times of your life. I promise you! But if you’re still on the fence, just look at the rest of these images and swoon 😍
