Say hello to the B family! Love working with these beautiful people. Kara wanted to do a 6 month milestone family session, to document their life in Michigan. Sadly for me, they scooted off to a new chapter in another state. But so happy for them! Might have to make an out of state trip just for another session with them π
What I love most about this session is their joy. They are just so happy, and I think it really translates in these photos. Documenting this type of emotion is what my work is all about. Yes we had a couple of tears π (to be expected with a hungry babe) but as soon as she got some milk in her belly, she was all smiles again!
I also did their newborn session, and itβs always an honor to be included in those special moments with families- but to be invited again? Ultimate win. Ultimate confirmation that Iβm doing what I should be doing.
Milford, MI is kind of my home base. I shoot a ton of my sessions in and around the area. Though I do travel all over southeast MI- (pretty much anywhere that has pretty nature scenes= perfect session spot.) I tend to avoid heavily populated areas of the state, unless weβre purposely trying to incorporate a downtown area into a session. Pictured here is one of my favorite tall grassy fields to use in Milford! I rarely see any other people here and I love what the milkweed does in the late summer/early fall months.
