Since it’s a cool ZERO degrees today 😑, I thought what better time than to blog a warm sunset session from last summer! This is Justine & Leila, and I love them.
When we met at Maybury State Park in Northville that day, it took Leila approximately 3.7 seconds to decide that she liked me and that we were going to be friends. She had both me and Justine cracking up the whole session (though I’m sure she makes Justine laugh regularly), and she kept saying “Oh my gosh!” as she put her hand up on her face. Most of our session was spent exploring the paths of Maybury, playing with flowers, and being silly with each other. I really wanted to document their relationship exactly as it was, and I think (I hope) I checked off at least a few of those boxes- loving, silly, fun, affectionate.
As we walked back to our cars at the end of the session, Leila stopped me and asked me to pick her up and hug her. She squeezed me so tight, and didn’t want me to leave. And it was at that exact moment that I a) melted into a puddle right there in the parking lot, and b) made a new bff 😍
Thank you Justine for allowing me to document your beautiful relationship with your baby girl! I loved every second!
