This cozy newborn session at home in West Bloomfield is a new favorite!
Kalie & Bill did a maternity session with me a few months back, and I immediately knew that we’d all get along great. They’re both so relaxed and go with the flow, and I always seem to settle in well with people who have that energy to them. Their newborn session was done in their beautiful home in West Bloomfield, and I think my most favorite part of their home was Rosalie’s nursery. Kalie hand painted that nursery mural herself. HAND. PAINTED. I thought it was a stencil or stickers- it was so perfect and lovely!
I loved using their space creatively during this session, too. Lots of cool ways to shoot through doors and mirrors- which isn’t something I get to do often during a newborn session, however I’m always looking for things in my clients homes that hold little pieces of them- art, decor, everything. Rosalie was obviously a perfect angel. Chill, just like her parents! She made my job easy, that’s for sure. So excited to share these photos 🙂
