I don’t usually shoot senior sessions, and now after shooting Madison’s, I have no idea why! If they’re all as fun and beautiful as hers was, then sign me up for allllll the senior sessions!
Madison knew exactly what she wanted for her senior photos, and that was unposed, more natural looking photos. (I graduated in 2003, so I had plenty of fun showing her my best 90’s/2000’s cheesy poses. Is that still a thing? Who knows. Maybe tucking your hands under your chin and smiling your biggest toothy smile is your thing. No judgements!) Anyway, when she told me what she wanted, I was like ‘mmk yup, were going to have a great session.’
We started at one of my favorite spots- Proud Lake Rec. Madison’s mom and sister came along for the ride, and I am so glad that they did, because it was really fun just walking around together. Next we went to Detroit for some shots. Madison’s mom was freakin’ awesome for so many reasons, but one of which, was because she drove us all there! Most of our time driving was spent laughing and talking, and I felt like I was with my own family or friends. It was just such a nice and enjoyable afternoon. And after we finished up at Belle Isle, they treated me to my first trip to Bucharest Grill!
I loved every minute of our afternoon and spending time with these lovely ladies, and I still (4 months later) cannot get over how stunning Madison is, and how I’m completely in love with her whole session. Huge thank you to The H. Family for being so amazing and kind and for such a great afternoon!
