In-home sessions are my favorite type of session to shoot. I love capturing your every day details and showing them in maybe a different light. This Farmington family session at my client’s home is a new favorite!!

Updating your family photos regularly is important. Really, really important. I love all of my session for their own reasons, but I especially love a session that takes on a different level of importance to the client. For this Farmington family session, Priya really wanted to capture the details of the home she shares with her husband, Ameya, and their dog Max. 1. I’m a sucker for a grey house. Always. 2. I love shooting details in my client’s homes!

So, this house is very special to them, and it’s where they’ve lived for the last year. Because it’s so special to them, they will sadly miss it, as right after our session they started their next chapter in Ohio! See why details would be so important to them?! And! Priya was graduating the same day as our session, so her parents were in town from California, and Ameya’s parents were in town all the way from India! Max was the perfect model, as all dogs are. I swear he was posing for the photos! He wanted to be anywhere we were, and made us all laugh a lot. All in all, this was another really fun session, and I love how natural the photos are. I also LOVE Priya’s portraits. Such a beauty! Thank you Ameya, Priya & family!
