Shooting a session on a farm with horses and other animals, has been a long time bucket list session for me, and I finally got the opportunity to do it and work with the most amazing family ever!
The H. family was a referral from another client of mine (whom I also love so much), and as soon as we met, I knew we were going to be buddies for life! Ya know when you just click with someone instantly? That’s them! Not just because they have the most amazing property with a river running through it, beautiful sunsets, and plenty of animals for me to fall in love with (hello, photographer dream), but because they’re just wonderful people. So kind, so thoughtful, so beautiful, and so much fun! They practically had to kick me out for this session because I could have photographed everything for 6+ hours, and even when it was a good time for them to tell me “you can leave now”, they still didn’t and just let me do my thing.
Since I’m an entire year behind on blogging, I have since been back to photograph a newborn session for them- and again, they probably should have kicked me out, but instead asked me to stay for dinner- WHAT. Freakin angels on earth who I will never let go to another photographer ever ever ever. Check out the photos from their first family session below, but be warned: you will start planning out a chicken coop even though you know you don’t have space for it, so then you’ll put your house up for sale to get the space, and then you’ll look into baby alpacas and how to take care of them, and you’ll also wonder if you can adopt a horse somewhere. Ya know, since you have room now at your new house that you haven’t even gotten yet. And then before you know it, you’ll tell your husband “alright babe, I gotta go feed the goats” and he’ll look at you like a crazy person, because you still live in the city, you do not have goats, and this is basically the first he’s ever heard of this whole plan…. no? Just me?
