Three different looks- one maternity session. These two know how to partayyy! Kirsti and Trent wanted their Northville maternity photos to be close to home, IN their home, and at a spot where they took engagement pictures. Every session is different, and I love tailoring each shoot to each client’s unique story.
We started at their home, in what could quite possibly be my favorite nursery of all time. The colors, patterns, art- ugh I could go on and on. So many perfectly sweet touches! And whenever I blog it, I will probably blow up my website with the amount of nursery photos I took at their newborn session a month-ish later (in addition to what I’m including at the bottom of this post, because I can’t get enough of it!)
After we spent some time in that cute as frick nursery, we headed over to Maybury Park in Northville. Always a favorite location of mine because there’s a ton of different spots to shoot in, and the sun sets sooo nicely there. They did their engagement photos in the woods and wanted to have some of their maternity pictures there too. It was still pretty early in the spring, so the leaves hadn’t quite grown in yet… but still so dreamy! When we wrapped up in the woods, the sun was starting to set over the field, and this light was insanely good. So warm and glowy. Photographer dreams are made in this kind of light. Cutest couple, prettiest locations, and the sweetest pups!
