After this Northville Family Maternity Session, I couldn’t get home fast enough because I was dying to see the pictures. And then when I saw them on my computer, I couldn’t walk away. I got up from my computer two different times to go to bed, but I kept coming back to this session. I couldn’t (and still cant) get enough of it! And I’ll probably feel the same when baby girl is born for the Newborn Family Session.
The K. Family is so dang cute. I said it before, and I’ll say it again: they belong in a magazine or a catalog. It’s not even just that they’re a good looking family or they’re photogenic. They have such a connection and love for each other, and I was truly honored to document that. TheirΒ relationship reminds me a lot of my own dynamic with my family, and seeing how that bond has flourished in Camden’s whole two and a half years of life, excites me for my own future. Some of the photos of Camden and Cara hugging honestly made me a little emotional. It has to be an overwhelming mix of feelings when you’re preparing to say goodbye to ‘family of three’ and hello to ‘family of four’.
Aside from the above, there are a few things worth mentioning:
- Camden was a champ for this session. At the end, he fell and scraped his knee pretty bad. That would end even my level of participation in a session. Not this dude. He was up and running within minutes. And not only that- he was smiling and happy afterwards!!
- Dave had all of the trick moves to get Camden giggling. It was the cutest thing!
- How stunning is Cara? And why don’t I look like that pregnant?!
