You guys. This is one of my favorite in-home newborn sessions to date. I love photographing a new family of four (or more). Older siblings are so proud and excited to show me their new baby. They’re almost always bursting at the seams, ready to play- and I live for that.
This session with The W. family was so effortless- honestly. There was very minimal directing or coaching on my part. This was just them- in all of their fun loving, adventurous, love-filled glory. Myles and I instantly connected. He’s about 6 months older than my boy, and they both seem to find the same goofy faces I make, hilarious. He was such an easy subject to photograph, too. You’ll notice that there are a ton of photos of him- some silly, some happy, and some snuggly. I love them all, and couldn’t not include them, even though this is a newborn session. I just feel like the family as a whole should be documented for these newborn sessions. Everett was also quite the little angel to photograph. Looking at family photos on the wall, he looked just like his older brother as a baby. Since photographing this session, I’ve seen them again for my Christmas mini sessions- they’re still the most adorable family ever. Myles is still so fun to photograph. And Everett is just the cutest little ham.
One more thing I have to mention. Eric is an engineer at Ford and made both of their name signs. ARE THOSE NOT THE COOLEST EVER?!
