For Shpresa’s ethereal maternity pictures, she wanted something light, airy, and dream-like. StonyCreek Metro Park was the perfect location for this; with 4,400 acres of sprawling fields, trees, and lush greenery.
When Shpresa came to me for her maternity session, she knew that she wanted it done where she had previously taken her wedding pictures- at Stony Creek Metro Park. She plans to have pictures taken in the same spots once Baby V is born, so that eventually, she’ll have wedding photos, maternity, newborn, AND family pictures done in the same locations.
All that remains of the gorgeous Sheldon Estate located inside of Stony Creek’s park, are these steps leading up to where the estate once was (unfortunately demolished for safety reasons in 1980), and a grand stair case leading down to the tennis courts.

At 37 weeks, Shpresa was glowing, and beyond excited to meet Baby V. Occasionally, she would look down at her stomach and hold it, as if she was comforting the sweet baby that was growing inside. It really didn’t take much to give her the ethereal maternity session feeling that she wanted. The grounds are dream-like, and the sun hid behind the clouds, making it’s appearance every so often.
Located just at the bottom of the stairs leading down to the tennis courts is this surreal lane of pine trees- a popular wedding ceremony location.
