I am the luckiest, and I have the coolest job.
I was talking to my husband the other day about taking photos, and I was explaining that it’s not because I want to do a good job, or have a good business with lots of clientele, or make money. I mean, those things are nice, but honestly, I get something out of every session I do that is SO much bigger and deeper than those things. Which is why I’m so appreciative to my clients for welcoming me into their homes. Doing so tells their story and freezes time for them, and documents their most special moments in life- but it also gives me an outlet for my creativity, and an outlet to just let my mind be free. So again, I am THE luckiest, and I have the coolest job.
This lovely little babe is Genevieve. She has the most beautiful name, and the most amazing/kind/loving parents ever. She is their first baby, but you would never know it the way Mike & Cathy just easily breezed through their session with her. They were so relaxed, and we had so much fun just hanging out together! It was a day well spent- but then, any day that I get to photograph newborns, is one of those types of days. And any day that I get to have my camera in my hands, is my ideal.
