Today’s Product Spotlight is on Birth Announcements,

So something really great about purchasing your Birth Announcements through Kellie&Jean Photography, as opposed to purchasing them through an online card company: WAY easier. After having your baby, your time becomes extremely precious. Who wants to waste any of that time; 

one waiting for all of your pictures to come back from K&J, only to use one (or a few) of them on your announcements;

two sorting through which photo you should choose out of the many you receive back; 

three going through the process of ordering them through the online company?

When you order your birth announcements through Kellie&Jean Photography the process is made to make it easy for you and your partner.

STEP 1: Set up your Fresh 48 or Newborn Session.

STEP 2: Let me know that you’re interested in birth announcements! If you’re one step ahead before even giving birth, you might have more time to decide on a specific card K&J offers. (If you wait until after the birth, it’s still an easy process, so don’t fret!)

STEP 3: Your session takes place. At that time, we will discuss your birth announcement needs, if we haven’t done so prior to your baby’s birth. You’ll be able to look over the unique cards offered, and choose one that you like! We’ll also cover the information that you would like on your cards at this time. 

STEP 4: Within 5 business days, you will receive 8 professionally edited images via online gallery, if you’ve decided on ordering K&J Announcements. You and/or your partner choose the image(s) that you want for your announcements. Boom! Your cards go to print, and you’ll receive them a few short days later!

BONUS: You receive high resolution digital images of any photos that you choose for your birth announcements, without having to purchase those digital images separately.

Let’s say you decide to go through another card company for your birth announcements.

The regular Booking Process with Kellie&Jean Photography (as outlined here), looks like this:

1. Your Session takes place.

2. About 2 weeks after your session takes place, you set up your In Person Premier Ordering Appointment. This is where you’ll get to view your images from your session, and order your prints & products (ie: digital images for your announcements).

3. Your products are then ordered, and shipped out to you. About 1-2 weeks after your Ordering Appointment, you receive your order!

This process is the typical ordering process, but for Birth Announcements, I really  wanted to kick it up a notch and make it as easy as possible for new moms & dads.

One more key difference between my announcements, and an online card company’s announcements:

These make beautiful framed pieces for the nursery or bedside in your room, and can be printed & framed as big or as little as you want! (hint: you can’t get this with those online stores!)
